High quality mangoes are produced at present in the country's Chapai Nababganj, Rajshahi, Naogaon, Natore, Meherpur, Satkhira and some other districts. Department of Agricultural Expansion (DAE) has taken up a project to export mangoes to foreign countries, the DAE will implement the project from July 2022 to June 2027.

To facilitate the expansion of mango exports, the Ministry of Agriculture has initiated the Exportable Mango Production Project, slated for implementation from 2022 to 2027. The project, covering 46 upazilas in 15 districts across the country, aims to enhance the production and export capacity of high-quality mangoes.
